Photo Contest Winner: JohnsonWelcome! Since 1967, we have been taking care of generations of Eastside children, one child at a time, 365 days a year.

For those times when something unexpected occurs, we are also open on weekends for illnesses and injuries that need to be seen the same day. Please call 425-827-4600 to schedule a visit at either our Bellevue office (Northup Way), or our Pine Lake office (SE 29th St).

hf32We are delighted to announce that our new office in Bothell is now open.

To serve our growing community, we have opened our 8th office, just minutes from I-405, at 19801 North Creek Parkway Suite #201. We are now welcoming new patients.

hf25At Pediatric Associates, we are more than just your neighborhood clinic, we are your child’s medical home.

Our relationship with our patients is a family centered partnership founded on trust and open communication between the patient, doctor and parents. We believe in working together, with clear information and honest discussions, to arrive at the best decisions for your child's health care.

hf38As a medical practice owned and operated by our pediatricians since 1967, we are committed to the children of our community and work to make sure that your child's needs come first.

No matter the changes in our healthcare environment, our mission continues to remain the same, to provide excellent medical care to infants, children and adolescents.

hf39We know that there is never a day off when you are a parent, so we are here when you need us.

We provide quality with convenience by offering same day appointments every day of the year, including weekends and all holidays, 24 hour nurse phone consultations, phone access to an on-call pediatrician overnight for urgent concerns, and care at Seattle Children's under the supervision of our pediatricians if hospitalization is needed.

FluMist and Infant Flu Vaccines Have Arrived!

Pediatric Associates now has this season’s influenza vaccine for children 6 months through 35 months old. We will announce when we have supply for children 3 years and older. All children over 6 months old are recommended to be vaccinated to prevent severe complications related to influenza. Pediatric Associates looks forward to serving your children's health needs in a medical home with expertise in caring for kids of all ages.   Children 6 months through 8 years of age need only 1 dose of vaccine if they have received 1) at least 1 dose of 2013-2014 seasonal influenza vaccine; or 2) 2 or more doses of seasonal influenza vaccine since July 1, 2010; otherwise, children in this age group should receive 2 doses at least 4 weeks apart.    Pediatric Associates also now has FluMist for all children 2-18 years old. For younger children 2-8 years old, the CDC now recommends the intranasal spray as potentially more effective if they qualify. Since supply may vary during the season, the CDC and Pediatric Associates strongly recommend that receiving any flu vaccine is still much better than waiting to get vaccinated. You may follow this link to download and complete the screening form for the intranasal flu vaccine prior to your visit. Click Here for Screening Form  We also recommend the CDC as a source for reliable information regarding children, the flu, and the flu vaccine. Click Here     The figure above is a flow chart detailing the influenza vaccine dosing algorithm for children aged 6 months through 8 years in the United States for the 2014-15 influenza season. Two approaches are recommended for determination of the necessary doses for the 2014-15 season; both are acceptable. The first approach considers only doses of seasonal influenza vaccine received since July 1, 2010. Where adequate vaccination history from before the 2010-11 season is avail¬able, the second approach may be used.
